reflective horizons

Reflective Horizons is a room-scale acrylic mural located in the top floor elevator lobby of a Seattle tower.  The project presents an apparition emerging from a dematerialized wall. The blue figures extruded from the surface appear to hover in the middle of an enlarged space like a mirage. The installation is created from a series of vertical panels consisting of a mirrored acrylic strip with an attached translucent blue acrylic fin. The installation is created from a series of 35 vertical panels. Each consisting of a translucent blue acrylic fin set perpendicular to a mirrored acrylic panel.
